Daisuke Matsumoto, founder of Monex Group, will share his journey with University of Tokyo students. After pursuing an impressive career trajectory from Keio University to the University of Tokyo and onto Goldman Sachs, Matsumoto departed as a partner to launch Monex. Despite achieving remarkable success, including leading a publicly listed company with a market capitalization of 200 billion yen, Matsumoto's university experience involved setbacks, including academic delays due to English proficiency issues.

What drove Matsumoto to such heights of success? Why did he choose to donate to the University of Tokyo? Alongside journalist Tatsuya Goto, Matsumoto will delve into the undisclosed secrets and emotions of his life, reflecting on his thoughts, decisions, and life journey from university to the present, aiming to impart wisdom to his junior peers at the University of Tokyo.
