Tokyo is launching the "Tokyo Startup Gateway 2024," a business plan contest aimed at fostering young entrepreneurs aged 15 to 39 who aspire to make a global impact from Tokyo. Since its inception in 2014, the contest has received over 12,000 entries.

Substantial Prizes: Awards include 3 million yen for the grand prize, 1.5 million yen for the excellence prize, and 300,000 yen for the finalist prize.

Eligibility
Applicants must be between 15 and 39 years old as of April 1, 2024.
Must intend to start a business in Tokyo by the end of fiscal year 2026.
Open to residents outside Tokyo if they plan to start their business within the city.
